Nate Popiel kept the Oneonta Outlaws (6-3) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Saugerties Stallions (5-3) beat the Oneonta Outlaws, 4-0.
Popiel allowed four hits, two walks and struck out four.
Anthony Cruz racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Saugerties Stallions. He singled in the fourth, sixth, and seventh innings.
Josh Covey was effective even in defeat, mowing down eight the Saugerties Stallions batters and allowing one run.
Covey (0-2) took the loss for the Oneonta Outlaws.
