
Poole Headed to AFL

ROME, Ga. - With still three weeks until they report for camp, and the Rome Renegades have already lost one player to the Arena Football League(AFL). Reggie Poole, 6-3, 330, has signed with the Kansas City Brigade, which is about to begin its inaugural season in the AFL. Poole signed with the Renegades in October, and was expected to a force on the line of scrimmage. "We are excited about the opportunity that Reggie has been given with Kansas City. Even though we lose him as a Renegade, we realize that this is a step up for he and his family", says Renegades Head Coach, David Humphreys. Poole is now the second Renegade to move up to the AFL. Defensive lineman, Prentice Purnell, is now with the Georgia Force. "As an organization it is exciting to see our players moving up the ranks of football," added Humphreys. Poole played college ball at both North Carolina State and Jacksonville State University is from Cedartown, GA and went to Cedartown High School.
