Rockland 6, Sussex County 2 - Box Score

Rockland tallied three runs in the fourth inning to grab a 5-0 advantage and would cruise from there to a 6-2 victory over Sussex County.

The Boulders were led at the plate by 3B Richie Fecteau who went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBIs. Rockland 1B Matt Oberste launched a blast and drove in two in a 1-for-3 day while 2B Marcos Almonte and RF Blake Grant-Parks each picked-up a double and scored a run. In total, the Boulders had eight hits in the contest.

Rockland pitcher Zach Jemiola tossed three innings of relief and claimed his first victory of the season. Jemiola gave up an unearned run on five hits and struck out two batters.

For the Miners, 2B Trey Hair had a 2-for-3 outing with an RBI.

Ottawa 13, Quebec 3 - Box Score

It was all Ottawa in this contest as the Champions rolled past Quebec by the final of 13-3.

Ottawa pounded out 13 hits in the game and tallied runs in every inning except the first and seventh innings. Champions 2B Leonardo Reginatto led the way offensively going 4-for-4 with a run scored and three RBIs. Ottawa RF Jiandido Tromp contributed a pair of hits, including a home run, along with two runs scored and two RBIs while CF Steve Brown scored three times and collected a double.

Champions starting pitcher Danny Garcia allowed three earned runs over six innings of work and notched the victory. The lefty gave up a pair of walks and seven hits to go along with five strikeouts in a 90-pitch performance. With the win, Garcia evened up his record at 6-6 on the year.

For the Capitales in the losing effort, 1B Zach Wilson had a 2-for-4 day with three RBIs.

Trois-Rivieres 9, New Jersey 5 - Box Score

Trois-Rivieres scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to take a 6-1 lead and would go on from there to defeat New Jersey, 9-5.

The Aigles collected nine hits as a team with seven batters picking up at least one. Trois-Rivieres CF/RF Michael Suchy led the way going 2-for-3 with a home run, two walks and an RBI. Aigles 3B Taylor Brennan walked four times and scored twice in a 1-for-1 day while DH Levon Washington and 1B Juan Kelly each contributed home runs.

Trois-Rivieres starter Chris Murphy tossed five solid innings of work and earned the win. The Millersville University product allowed an earned run on three hits and fanned three batters. Murphy improved his mark to 8-5 on the season with the victory.

Center fielder Demetrius Moorer went 2-for-5 with a triple and two RBIs in the loss for the Jackals.
