Fort Worth Brahmas News Release
The Fort Worth Brahmas Booster Club would like to encourage all fans of the Fort Worth Brahmas to turn out and show their support of the Brahmas at tonight's (Tuesday, May 9) meeting of the City of Fort Worth City Council. The meeting will take place at 7:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers (1000 Throckmorton, downtown Fort Worth).
Please make every effort to attend this evening's City Council meeting and show the City of Fort Worth "powers that be" how important the Brahmas are to you and this city. If possible, please bring your friends, co-workers, and neighbors--the more Brahmas backers on hand to support our cause, the more effective our message will be.
Selected representatives of the Brahmas community will have the opportunity to briefly address City Council and express their sentiments about what the Brahmas mean to them individually and to the City of Fort Worth.
Please wear your Brahmas memorabilia to show your support. If you do not have any Brahmas gear, the Brahmas Booster Club will have a limited number of Brahmas t-shirts on hand to pass out for people to wear at the meeting. Booster Club members will be in front of the City Council building from 6:00-6:30 p.m. (or until the t-shirts run out) distributing these t-shirts.
For those that do attend tonight's City Council meeting, please keep in mind that this is a formal affair. Excessive clapping or noise will lead to your removal from the City Council chambers.
Should you need additional information, please contact me directly at (817) 999-6984.
Sincerely,
Sheri Long, Co-President, Fort Worth Brahmas Booster Club
