TONIGHT:

The Ontario Reign (10-5) and Allen Americans (9-5) play the fourth match of the Western Conference Finals at the Allen Event Center. Ontario and Allen are tied in total goals scored so far this series with nine each. The winner of this series will face the winner of the Eastern Conference Finals (South Carolina leads Toledo in the series 3-1) in the Kelly Cup Finals. This is the first time both teams have appeared in the Conference Finals in ECHL play; Allen previously won back-to-back President's Cups in the Central Hockey League before joining the ECHL for 2014-15. The Reign and Americans split the regular season series at 1-1-0-0.

WHITE DISPLAYING MARKSMAN-LIKE ACCURACY:

Not only does Matt White lead the Reign with nine goals, but his shooting percentage of 32.1% on 28 shots leads all skaters still playing in the conference finals; almost double his output of 28 goals on 161 shots in the regular season (17.4%).

ONTARIO CONTAINS ALLEN'S BIG GUNS:

For the second straight game, the Reign managed to hold several of the top scorers for the Americans off the scoresheet on Thursday. Notable was Spencer Asuchak, who is tied with Gary Steffes for second among Allen goal scorers with seven; the former Reign skater went without a shot on goal and was a -1.

NUNN BETTER:

Garry Nunn's assist on White's goal in Game 3 gave him six helpers on the power play, tied with Chad Costello for the league lead; since the start of the second round, few on Ontario's roster have matched his overall level of contributions: 14 points (6g-8a) in eight games.
