Players & Dance Team Have Appearances Planned This Week

MANCHESTER, N.H. (June 23, 2004) - The Manchester Wolves (arenafootball2) and members of the dance team will be out and about in the community this week and into the weekend supporting charitable causes and local events.

A complete schedule of this week's team appearances is as follows:

Wednesday, June 23

Members of the Wolves dance team will be signing autographs and posing for photos at the open house at Goodbrain Academy of Creative Technology (6:00 - 7:00 PM). The academy is located on 360 Harvey Road, Airpark Business Center in Manchester.

Thursday, June 24

Wolves' team mascot "Blitz" will be at the Verizon Wireless Arena tomorrow night to greet patrons and mingle with fans at the Best of New Hampshire Party (5:30 - 8:30 PM). Blitz will be escorted through the event by a number of Wolves staff members who will be passing out information and making sure their furry friend doesn't get lost.

Friday, June 25 - Wolves vs. Louisville Fire (Verizon Wireless Arena)

The Wolves are back in action for their second home game in as many weeks in what is shaping up to be another surefire arenafootball2 classic against Louisville. Kick off is scheduled for 7:30 PM. Fans should plan on getting to the Verizon Wireless Arena early, as the first 3,000 patrons through the doors will receive a FREE Blitz bobblehead doll, courtesy of Catholic Medical Center, Verizon Wireless and FNX Radio. To get in the game, purchase your tickets today at the Verizon Wireless Arena box office or through Ticketmaster at 603-868-7300, at Ticketmaster outlets or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Adult seats start as low as $14 in the upper bowl while youth (12-and-under) and senior (65-and-over) tickets start at just $9.50.

Saturday, June 26

Members of the Wolves dance team and "Blitz," the official team mascot, will be appearing this Saturday at Cruising Downtown. The event is an all-day affair, which runs from 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM on Elm Street in downtown Manchester.

Also on Saturday, a number of Wolves players will be out at Gym USA's member appreciation barbeque, which will be held at the gym from Noon - 3:00 PM. The players will be on hand to mingle with patrons, sign autographs and pose for pictures. Gym USA is located on 64 Daniel Plummer Road in Goffstown, NH.
