Pittsburgh RiverRats to Hold Final Tryout on Saturday January 6th

Tryout will be held at the Ice Garden from 11:00am - 1:00pm (Registration begins at 10:30am)

Final Tryout to be held at The Ice Garden in Belle Vernon as team looks to add to the training camp roster. The RiverRats will Open Training Camp on January 15th as they begin their quest for the 2007 AIFA Championship.

The Pittsburgh River Rats, Professional Indoor Football Team, which will compete in the American Indoor Football Association beginning in 2007, will hold their final tryout prior to the 2007 season. Players will be tested in the 40 yard dash, 20 yard shuttle, broad jump, and individual position skill/agility sessions. Pittsburgh RiverRats Head Coach Shawn Liotta and his coaching staff will conduct the tryout, and may sign deserving players to contracts for the 2007 AIFA season immediately following the tryout. Tryout is open to any athlete over 18 years old that is serious about pursuing a professional football career. Directions from Pittsburgh:

Take 51 South. 15 min. south past Century III Mall. Continue on 51 South across the Elizabeth Bridge and approximately 7 miles beyond the bridge. Just past the airport the lanes separate. When you pass the nd yellow "cross" Intersection sign on your right, make the next left. (Route 136 is on the right of the sign.) Cross opposing lane of Route 51 carefully and stay to the left. (Don't turn right). This will put you in a parking lot at Rostraver Gardens Ice Arena.
