Pioneers Hire Joe Shaughnessy as Assistant General Manager and Director of Sales

Wilkes-Barre, PA - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers are pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Joe Shaughnessy to their front office staff, where he will assume the title and responsibilities of Assistant General Manager and Director of Sales.
Shaughnessy is responsible for over seeing our ticket and corporate sales divisions for the Pioneers. Prior to joining the Pioneers Joe was the Director of Ticket Sales with the Red Barons baseball team from February 1999 until June 2006.
"The Pioneers ownership is most excited about Joe becoming a part of our organization," said Dave Berryman, President and General Manager. "He brings a wealth of experience to the Pioneers to assist us in our future endeavors."
For the last 15 seasons, Joe has been a PIAA football official. He is a past president for the Scranton Chapter and he has been an executive Board member for several seasons.
Joe graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with his degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing. He resides in Taylor with his wife Belinda and his two daughters Katelyn and Kelsey.
