
Pioneers Continue to Add to Roster for 2008

(Wilkes-Barre)The Wilkes-Barre/ Scranton Pioneers and Head Coach Rich Ingold are proud to announce that the arenafootball2 offices have assigned Mike Sacco, Christopher Page and Raymond Lamb to the team for the 2008 season.
At an imposing 6'8 340 pounds out of Toledo, Mike Sacco adds more size to a formidable Pioneers offensive line. Sacco played and started in six games for the Mahoning Valley Thunder last year.
"There are a lot of big expectations this year for this team. I am excited to live up to those expectations and excited to be a Pioneer," said an enthusiastic Sacco.
Christopher Page 5'10 181 pounds, was a standout performer for Temple. Page played both safety and cornerback for the Owls earning a 2006 first team preseason All-Independent selection by CollegeFootballNews.com and a second team selection by Phil Steele. Page also averaged 15.5 yards per kick return in his college career.
Page's defensive backfield mate from the 2005 Temple squad, Raymond Lamb 5'10 190 pounds, has also been assigned to the Pioneers. Lamb led the Temple Owls in interceptions in 2005. The Football Writers Association of America and the FedEx Orange Bowl named Raymond a candidate for the 2005 FWAA Courage Award. He was a member of the 2003 Big East Conference All-Academic Team.
