
Pioneers Assigned First Player for 2008 Season

(Wilkes-Barre, PA) The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers and head coach Rich Ingold are very excited to announce that they have been assigned their first player for the 2008 season!
DL Kader Drame (6-6, 305) is a former free agent of the New England Patriots and the Indianapolis Colts. He is a graduate of Syracuse University where he was a two-year starter who opened 23 of 39 career games for the Orange totaling 78 tackles (34 unassisted), eight tackles for a loss, seven pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery spanning the 2002-2005 seasons. Drame attended Wilbur Cross High School in Connecticut where he accumulated 71 tackles, seven sacks, four pass breakups, and a blocked punt.
"We are really focusing on pass rushers," said Rich Ingold. "Kader adds size, strength and toughness we are looking for. He is hungry to help us win a championship."
