Phoenix Rising Midfielder Jon Bakero Earns USL Championship Team of the Week Honorable Mention

PHOENIX - Phoenix Rising midfielder Jon Bakero earned USL Championship Team of the Week Honorable Mention for Week 4 of the 2019 USL Championship season the league announced today. On Saturday evening, Bakero completed 84.3 percent of his 51 passes and created seven chances while notching one assist in the club's 2-2 draw with Colorado Springs. The game marked Bakero's debut with Phoenix Rising.
This is the third time in as many eligible weeks in 2019 that a Rising FC player has been recognized by the league. In Week 1, Junior Flemmings was a Team of the Week Honorable Mention and in Week 2, Solomon Asante was on the Team of the Week.
Phoenix Rising is back at Casino Arizona Field on Saturday, April 6, for a match against Fresno FC. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. and gates open at 6 p.m. Fans can purchase their tickets by going to PHXRisingFC.cpom
