Phoenix Rising Forward Adam Jahn Named USL Player of the Week

PHOENIX - Phoenix Rising forward Adam Jahn was named the USL Player of the Week for Week 10 of the 2019 USL Championship season the league announced today. Jahn tallied a brace in addition to notching one key pass and completing 27 of his 31 passes in Phoenix Rising's 3-1 win over Rio Grande Valley Friday night.

This is the sixth week this season a Rising FC player has been recognized by the league and the first time in 2019 a Rising player has been recognized as the player of the week. This is also the first time Jahn has been recognized by the league. Carl Woszczynski was the last Rising player to be named the USL Player of the Week back on July 3, 2018.

Phoenix Rising begins its U.S. Open Cup run on Wednesday, May 15, against fellow USL Championship side New Mexico United. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. and gates open at 6:30 p.m.

The club continues league play this Saturday, May 18, against Las Vegas Lights FC. The match is Military Night presented by Mobile Mini and the first 2,000 fans who attend will receive a camo PRFC bucket hat. The players will also be wearing limited edition camo training tops prior to the match. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. and gates open at 6 p.m.
