
Philadelphia Wings Goalie Brandon Miller Named NLL Defensive Player Of The Week

Philadelphia Wings goalie Brandon Miller has been named the National Lacrosse League Defensive Player of the Week after back stopping his team to a 13-7 victory over the Boston Blazers on Saturday night. The Wings next play the Toronto Rock at Wachovia Center this Saturday, April 3 at 7 p.m.
Miller allowed just seven goals on 43 shots which was good for a .837 save percentage for the game. As good as he was in the first half, Miller was particularly sharp in the final two quarters allowing two goals on 23 shots. Miller's second half save percentage was an incredible .913. He was honored as the game's MVP.
