Philadelphia Wings Geoff Snider Named NLL Transition Player Of The Week

Philadelphia Wings Assistant Captain Geoff Snider has been named the National Lacrosse League Transition Player of the Week after his MVP performance in the Wings 13-12 overtime victory over the Minnesota Swarm this past Saturday. Philadelphia will close out the 2010 season versus the Orlando Titans at Wachovia Center this Friday, April 23 at 7 p.m.

Snider led the Wings in scoring in their win with seven total points (4G, 3A) and had 20 loose balls, 12 more than any other player. He also continued his season long dominance in the face-off circle winning 20 of 29 attempts. Snider scored the game winning goal just three minutes into the extra period to give his team the road victory. Snider currently leads the NLL in loose balls (230) and face-off winning percentage (.757).
