Philadelphia Wings News Release

PHILADELPHIA - Today, the Philadelphia Wings announced local broadcast partnerships with CBS Philadelphia and NBC Sports Philadelphia for the 2023-2024 season. Combined with the national broadcast schedule announced earlier today by ESPN and the National Lacrosse League (NLL), the renewed partnerships will once again make all eighteen regular season games available to fans on both linear and digital platforms.

"The excitement we've seen from Wings fans heading into this season has been next level, so we are proud to share that they will be able to catch every second of the action live," said Marc Zamarin, President of the Philadelphia Wings. "We are proud to count both CBS Philadelphia and NBC Sports Philadelphia as tremendous partners who share our excitement to deliver Wings lacrosse to both longtime and brand-new fans this season."

The Wings will open their season in primetime on ESPN2 against the New York Riptide on Saturday, December 2 at 7:30pm as part of the NLL's Faceoff Weekend. The event's broadcast slate features five games including a Friday night east/west primetime doubleheader on TSN and the Saturday night Wings game on ESPN2. After a trip to Toronto in Week 2, the Wings will open their home schedule on Saturday, December 16 at 1pm against the Albany FireWolves at the New Wells Fargo Center with both of those games on NBC Sports Philadelphia channels.

"We are thrilled to partner with the Philadelphia Wings for another season of exciting lacrosse, strengthening our commitment to local sports coverage," said Kelly Frank, President & General Manager of CBS Philadelphia.

"NBC Sports Philadelphia is a proud partner of the Philadelphia Wings and we're thrilled to bring fans all the exciting action on-air and online," said Ric Harris, President & General Manager of NBC10 and NBC Sports Philadelphia.

In the booth for home game broadcasts this season, Brian Smith returns for his fourth season to call the games as the play-by-play announcer. Alongside Smith providing insights and analysis of the action will be former Wings captain and five-time NLL champion Scott Gabrielsen. Smith and Gabrielsen will be joined by floor reporter Mary McGuinness, who will provide in-game updates and interviews from the heart of the action. During road games, fans will be introduced to faces and voices from around the National Lacrosse League.
