
Philadelphia Wings Add Veterans Kyle Sweeney and Mike McLellan to Roster

The Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) have signed veteran defender Kyle Sweeney and forward Mike McLellan to contracts for the remainder of the 2013 season.
Sweeney is a familiar face to Philadelphia fans as he previously suited up for the Wings from 2005 to 2011. In his seven seasons in Philadelphia, Sweeney scored 21 goals, while scooping 433 loose balls. The Philadelphia native and Georgetown alumnus previously played with the Edmonton Rush.
McLellan joins the Wings as his sixth NLL team, previously playing in Edmonton and Colorado, as well as Orlando, Arizona and New York. The 6'1' Toronto native has scored 121 career goals to go with 93 assists and recovered 176 loose balls. McLellan looks to add additional depth to the Wings left side this season.
