Philadelphia Wings Acquire Forward Kevin Ross from Minnesota

July 26, 2012 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Philadelphia Wings News Release

The Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) acquired left-handed forward Kevin Ross from the Minnesota Swarm today in exchange for the team's first round draft pick in 2015.

Ross is a five-year NLL veteran who tallied career bests with 28 goals and 31 assists in 16 games last season. Posting at least one goal in every game during the 2012 season, Ross figures to strengthen the Wings left side of the offense, joining forwards Brendan Mundorf and Mike Hominuck as the top left-handed forwards for the Wings.

"The Wings and our coaching staff have been trying to strengthen our left side. We already have some very talented players there but they can also play transition," said Wings President Michael French. "Kevin Ross, unfortunately had a nine-point game against us last season in Minnesota. We're excited that he's on our side moving forward."
