Philadelphia Wings Achieve Multiple Career Milestones

The Philadelphia Wings, of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), would like to congratulate members of their squad on achieving individual successes in the early stages of the current, 2014 season. The Wings anticipate more accomplishments to come.

Reaching milestones in the category of goals scored include Forwards Kevin Crowely and Garrett Thul and Defender John Ranagan. Crowley found the back of the net for his career 75th goal while Rookies Garrett Thul and John Ranagan each recorded their first career goals in 2014.

Numerous players scooped their way to a milestone for the number of loose balls they have recorded in their playing time. Captain Brodie Merrill notched his 1500th career loose ball. Merrill is annually among the league leaders in this statistic. Others hitting milestones in this category include Forwards Kyle Buchanan (50 career loose balls), Jordan Hall (500 career loose balls), Kevin Crowley (150 career loose balls), Kevin Ross (300 career loose balls), Transition Players Kyle Sweeney (650 career loose balls) and Joel White (150 career loose balls) and Defender Brett Manney (200 career loose balls).

Five players set career bests in points scored including Forwards Kyle Buchanan (50 career points), Jordan Hall (350 career points), Kevin Crowley (150 career points), Ryan Ward (600 career points) and Kevin Ross (250 career points).

Lastly, Goaltender Evan Kirk has made solid contributions as the anchor for the Wings' defense. Kirk recently recorded his 700th career save.
