
Philadelphia Freedoms Can Clinch Playoff Spot Tonight

Philadelphia Freedoms News Release
The Philadelphia Freedoms can clinch a playoff spot for the second season in a row when they take on the visiting Boston Lobsters tonight. The Freedoms beat the Lobsters last night by a score of 20-17, putting them second place in the Eastern Conference. The Philadelphia Freedoms enter this match with a record of 5-8, which is one match ahead of Boston who is 4-8. If the Freedoms beat Boston tonight, they will clinch a playoff spot playing against the Washington Kastles in Washington at Kastles Stadium at the Smith Center on Thursday, July 30.
Wimbledon quarterfinalist, CoCo Vandeweghe made her return back to the Freedoms team last night helping with the victory over Boston. Vandeweghe is playing for the Freedoms tonight as well.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to participate in Flyers Night activities which includes the opportunity to meet Stanley Cup Champion Bob "The Hound" Kelly and learn how to play hockey with members of the Flyers community relations staff with the Flyers interactive inflatable.
In honor of those who have served our country, the Freedoms will also be offering tickets priced at $10 to veterans and current members of the military and their families.
