
Phantoms Hold National Anthem Idol

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Youngstown Phantoms are on the search for talented singers or musical groups to perform the National Anthem at Phantom home games during the 2010-2011 hockey season.
If you are interested in belting out the notes for your Phantoms, here is what you need to know.
The open call will take place on September 16, beginning at 4 p.m. and concluding at 7 p.m. The last audition will be called at 6:45 p.m. so please arrive early. The Phantoms welcome any and all singers or musical groups that would like to audition. Interested vocalists should report to the Covelli Centre, specifically the Dental Express VIP doors located right next door to the ticket office. Singers who plan to audition should know that they will be required to sing acoustically during this audition process.
If selected to sign the National Anthem at a Phantoms home game, not only will you get to experience all of the Phantom action, but four other family members will receive a ticket as well.
