
Phantoms defeat Thunder

FLORENCE, S.C. -- Despite a league-record four field goals from Andy Eminger, the Daytona Beach Thunder (5-5) fell to the Florence Phantoms (3-6) 57-54 in an American Indoor Football League game Saturday night.
Rafael Cooper scored four touchdowns and put the Phantoms ahead 51-47 with 1:06 to go on a 12-yard run.
Eminger, who also tied a league-record with 18 points kicking, put Daytona Beach ahead 47-44 with 3:03 left.
Daytona Beach has lost three road games by a combined nine points.
The Thunder hosts defending league champion Richmond next Saturday.
