Phantoms Announce Exhibition Home Games

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Philadelphia Phantoms announced today that the team will play two home exhibition games at the area Skate Zones in the weeks leading up to the 2008-09 American Hockey League campaign. For a second straight season, the Lowell Devils and Norfolk Admirals will provide the opposition.

The first contest is slated for Monday, Sept. 22, at the Virtua Center Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ. New head coach John Paddock is expected to make his Phantoms debut, as the club will take on the Devils at 1:30 PM.

On Saturday, Sept. 27, the Phantoms will host the Admirals at the Polonia Bank Flyers Skate Zone in Northeast Philadelphia. The Phantoms and the affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning will face off at 6:05 PM.

Tickets for both games are $10 and will be available at the respective Skate Zone exhibition locations beginning Monday, Aug. 25. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Additional exhibition games will be announced in the coming weeks.

The Phantoms will begin their final regular season at the Wachovia Spectrum on Friday, Oct. 10 against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. Season tickets and game plans are now available.
