This is the second of two meetings between Ohio Valley and Peoria during the 2006 season. Ohio Valley won the earlier meeting by a 60-53 score. The Rough Riders are led by wide receiver Phil Taylor Jr. who has caught 25 passes for 264 yards and leads the team in touchdowns with 7. On the defensive side of the ball, Blue Aldridge continues to lead the team with 32 tackles this season. Andrew Franklin leads the UIF in sacks with 5.5. Ohio Valley has cooled of lately as they have lost two games in a row. In the last meeting vs. Peoria, quarterback Matt Kohn was awarded UIF Offensive Player of the Week by throwing for 314 yards and had a hand in eight touchdowns on the night. For the season, Kohn is third in the UIF in passing yards with 1139. The Greyhound offense is averaging 38.1 points per game which ranks fifth in the league. Wide receiver continues to lead the UIF in receptions with 47 as he has also scored 8 touchdowns on the season.
