This game marks the first of two meetings between the teams over the last eight weeks of the season. Both games will be extremely important in the race towards the playoffs. Bloomington scored their most points of the season last week as they put up 59 on Peoria. The Extreme run a very balance offensive attack as five different players scored a touchdown last week. Bloomington is scoring 40.1 points per game, which ranks 4th in the UIF. Omaha dominated the first-half of last week's game in Sioux Falls only to fall 34-24. The Beef defense is allowing 37.3 points per game, which ranks 4th in the league. Omaha's defense has given up less than 35 points each of their last three games. The defensive backfield tandem of Clint Brown and Harold Clewis have been smothering opposing receivers lately and have contributed to the great defensive play.
