
Peoria team announces tryout camp

Peoria, IL. The new Peoria, IL entry in the American Basketball Association (ABA) announced today that they will hold an Open Tryout on Saturday, July 22 in Peoria. The team is looking for talented, motivated and responsible players to fill out their 12 man roster. Head coach Sergio McClain's team will begin play in November.
Candidates must be 18 years of age and out of high school. Participation in the open tryouts may jeopardize a player's NCAA eligibility. If you have any questions about NCAA eligibility, please consult your coach. Registration is required and all fees are non-refundable. The cost for the tryout is $100 in advance and is due by July 18. The fee for walk-ins is $150. Registration forms can be downloaded at www.prairiebasketball.com or you can call 217 530 1535 and a form will be mailed to you.
