
Penguins Unveil Fifth Season Logo

WILKES-BARRE, PA. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, who will begin their fifth season in the American Hockey League in October, today unveiled a new special logo to commemorate the occasion.
The fifth season logo, which will be used by the team as a secondary logo during the 2003-04 season, features a skating Penguin displayed within the Roman numeral "V" and is flanked by a ribbon with the years "1999-2004" inscribed in it.
The logo was designed by SP Apparel, the official and exclusive jersey supplier for the American Hockey League.
The Penguins are planning a number of events throughout the upcoming season to commemorate the team's five seasons in the AHL.
