
Penguins Sign Seymour to AHL Contract

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed defenseman Clark Seymour to an American Hockey League contract for the 2015-16 season.
Last season as a first-year pro, Seymour ranking first among team defensemen with 14 assists, while notching one goal and 72 penalty minutes over 54 games with Wheeling. The native of Brockville, Ontario also appeared in 12 contests for the Penguins during the 2014-15 season, posting one assist.
Seymour, 22 was originally a fifth-round pick (143rd overall) of the Penguins in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. He played five seasons in the Ontario Hockey League from 2009-13 with the Peterborough Petes and the Kingston Frontenacs, collecting 57 points (14G-43A) and 272 PIM over 288 contests.
