
Penguins Sign Kevin Croxton

WILKES-BARRE, PA - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have signed forward Kevin Croxton, it was announced today by Assistant General Manager Chuck Fletcher.
Croxton, 25, split last season between the Peoria Rivermen and the Alaska Aces, recording seven points (2+5) in 13 games with Peoria and 46 points (21+25) in 52 games with Alaska.
A native of Calgary, Croxton made his professional debut with the Springfield Falcons during the 2005-06 season, posting four points (2+2) in 10 games.
The 6-3, 200 pound forward spent four seasons at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, recording 143 points (57+86) in 147 games. He led the team in scoring three times (2002-03, 2003-04 and 2005-06), and finished second on the club in points during his junior season.
