Pensacola Pelicans News Release
The curfew is lifted, and the water is drinkable, but for many area residents, life is anything but back to normal.
Beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 6, for three weeks members of the Pensacola Pelicans front office staff are volunteering their time and talents to those still recovering from Hurricane Ivan.
For businesses and organizations in need of volunteers to aid with continued recovery efforts, the Pelicans extend this offer for assistance. Organizations interested in participating will be signed up on a first come, first serve basis.
Also not to be forgotten, 10 percent of all proceeds earned through the month of December from 2005 Season Ticket sales is being donated to the Florida Hurricane Relief Fund.
If your business or organization is interested in having a member of the Pelicans front office staff to come out to work for you, contact Jessica Morris at (850) 934-8444.
