
PEI Rocket forward Joey Haddad suspended two games

BOUCHERVILLE, Friday, November 4, 2005 (QMJHL) - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's disciplinary committee today imposed a two-game suspension to PEI Rocket forward Joey Haddad.
The suspension follows an incident that occurred on Wednesday, November 2, in a contest opposing the Rocket to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan, in which Mr. Haddad was caught kneeing defenseman Mathieu Carle.
Before rendering their decision, the disciplinary committee reviewed the video sequence of the incident and consulted all concerned parties. The suspension is in effect as of today.
In accordance with the QMJHL's policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the disciplinary committee will not be available for further comment.
