Twin City Cyclones News Release
The Pee Dee Cyclones split a two-game home series last Friday & Saturday night at the Florence Civic Center, winning in overtime on Friday night by a 4-3 score over the Columbus Cottonmouths and falling short against the Knoxville Ice Bears, 8-2, on Saturday night.
The Cyclones begin the week in third place, just two points behind second place Fayetteville, with a record of 5 wins - 3 losses- and 1 overtime loss. The Cyclones are home this week for games on Thursday & Friday night at the FCC (Florence Civic Center) before heading on the road to Columbus, Georgia for a Saturday night game against the Cottonmouths.
Cyclones Announce Home Game Time Changes!
A reminder that starting with the Pee Dee Cyclones home games at the Florence Civic Center on Friday & Saturday, November 11th & 12th, all Cyclones home games will now start at 7:35PM.
Upcoming games & promotions:
Thursday, November 17th: Cyclones vs. Huntsville Havoc @ Florence Civic Center (7:35PM). First meeting of the year against the Huntsville, Alabama Havoc. The Havoc is currently in fourth place, one point behind the Cyclones with a record of 5 wins & 3 losses. Promotion: "Thirsty Thursday" with $2.00 draft beer specials & $1.00 soft drink specials. Also: "Student & Military Night". Anyone showing a valid student or military I.D. can purchase an $8.00 ticket in either the 200 or 400 section of the Civic Center.
Friday, November 18th:
Cyclones vs. Knoxville Ice Bears @ Florence Civic Center (7:35PM) Second meeting of the year against last year's SPHL Regular Season Champions. The Ice Bears are back in first place this season with a record of 6 wins, 1 loss, 2 overtime losses, and 1 shootout loss. Promotion: Cyclones "Dash for Cash". A lucky fan will qualify to go on the ice to "dash" for up to $1000 in cash.
Saturday, November 19th:
Cyclones at Columbus Cottonmouths (7:30PM). Follow the action at www.pointstreak.com.
Cyclones Player Notes:
Forward Shaun Aebig continues to lead the Cyclones in scoring with 3 goals and 8 assists for 11 points in seven games played. Trevor Karasiewicz is second in scoring with 5 goals and 5 assists for 10 points in nine games. Karasiewicz & Chris Seifert lead the team in goals scored with five while Aebig and Defenseman Jean-Francois Picard lead the team in assists with eight. Rookie Forward Chris Murphy leads the team in penalty minutes with 44.

Join Cyclones Head Coach Mark Richards and selected players every Tuesday night at 7:30PM at the Phoenix Bar & Grill in the Thunderbird Hotel on Highway 52 and I-95 for the Cyclones Radio Show on 100.1 FM "The Fan" as a part of the weekly "Press Box PM" radio program with host Emerson "E-Daddy" Phillips.
This Wednesday, November 16th, at 3:30PM, Cyclones team members and team mascot "CY" will be in attendance at the Florence County Library as a part of the "Friends of the Florence County Library Children's Program Week".

Cyclones season tickets are still on sale at the Pee Dee Cyclones office located inside the Florence Civic Center on the lower level of the building. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9AM to 5:30PM.
