Paul Ciulini Reaches 50 Caps

On Sudnay, June 5th Paul Ciulini became the twenty-second player in Major League Rugby to take the pitch for 50 matches.

The Arrows forward began playing rugby for the Aurora Barbarians at 12 years old. He is a graduate of the Ontario Blues senior men's provincial program and the University of Toronto Varsity Blues post-secondary program, and played his grassroots rugby with the Aurora Barbarians.

Ciulini made his debut for Canada against Uruguay on February 6th, 2016. He has earned eight caps for Canada, making five starts and scoring one try. He also represented Canada at the 2015 World Rugby Under-20 Trophy.

Now on his fourth season with Toronto, Ciulini has played in 50 of the 54 matches of the organizations history and scored three career tries to date.

Major League Rugby is honoring the first 50 players to reach 50 caps, and their role in building the legacy of MLR. The latest of the first twenty-one players to reach 50 caps for MLR includes Nathan Sylvia of San Diego Legion, Cam Dolan and Devin Short of NOLA Gold.
