
Patterson named to USL1 Team of the Week

Charleston SC. Charleston Battery striker Randi Patterson has been named to the USL First Division Team of the Week following his game-winning goal in the Battery's 1-0 victory over the Rochester Rhinos last Saturday night. Patterson lobbed goalkeeper Scott Vallow in the 59th minute to earn Charleston a fourth straight win and send the Battery to the top of the USL1 table. Patterson also scored the lone goal as the Battery beat Montreal last Wednesday night.
This is the fourth time this season that Patterson has been named to the USL1 Team of the Week; he was named USL1 Player of the Week (05/13). Patterson leads the league in goals scored (5) and points (10).
Originally from Hackensack, NJ, Patterson 5-9. 170 lbs., 23 yrs spent four seasons at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he was a two-time Southern Conference Player of the Year and NCSAA All-American selection. He finished his college career with 61 goals and 19 assists. Patterson spent his rookie season with Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls.
Champions League Final Viewing Party
The Three Lions Club will be open to the public on Wednesday afternoon (May 21) for the Champions League Final featuring Manchester United and Chelsea. Doors open at 1 PM, kick off is set for 2:45 PM. The bar will be open and there will be a limited bar menu available.

The Charleston Battery players and coaches will be at O'Malley's Bar & Grill, downtown Charleston, Wednesday evening (May 21)for the live broadcast of the Charleston Battery Radio Show on ESPN Radio 910 The Team.
