Patroons Welcome New Head Coach

Albany, NY - April 6, 2007 - The USBL's Albany Patroons are happy to announce their new Head Coach, Patrick O'Herron. Coach Patrick O'Herron has over twenty-five years of basketball experience as a player, coach, official, scout and team general manager. O'Herron joins the Patroons after his season as Head Coach of the CBA's 2006-07 Butte Daredevils.

Prior to his last position with the Daredevils, he was Head Coach of the Lechugerous, Mexico LNBP team. As Coach and General Manager of the So. Cal. Legends (ABA) he took his team to the national finals and finished second. He also served as an Assistant Coach in the National All Star Game.

Patrick has worked with Tim Grgurich (Assistant Coach of the Denver Nuggets) and Neil Olshey (Player Personnel L.A. Clippers) conducting summer workouts with NBA players such as Eric Snow, Carlos Boozer, Kobe Bryant, Travis Outlaw, Dahntay Jones, and Sasha Vujacic.

He has officiated for the following organizations: Los Angeles Pro-Am Leagues, American Basketball Association, and College Conferences.
