Albany, NY - May 10, 2007 - The Albany Patroons hope to remain unbeaten (5-0) at the Washington Avenue Armory, Friday , May 11th. Friday's game is designated Siena Night in honor of the Patroons leading scorer, Antoine Jordan.
The 2006 Siena Graduate, was a member of the 2006 MAAC First Team and played in two NBA summer leagues for the Washington Wizards. He has also played overseas, as a member of TDShop.it Livorno in Italy. The phenom from Siena College joins the USBL Patroons after a stint with Fort Worth (NBDL).
Jordan, a 6'4" Guard, is currently ranked under USBL Statistical Leaders in Scoring Average (16.1 ppg) and 3-Point Field Goal Percentage (.545). Jordan is joined by former Syracuse standout Craig Forth, former Philadelphia 76er, Fairfield University All-Star, Eighth All-Time NCAA Shot Blocker Deng Gai and many former Patroons players, including Cory Hightower, Kareem Reid, Marvin Phillips and Eric Williams, comprising a potential Championship Team for this season.
Support the Albany Patroons and local star, Antoine Jordan and help keep their streak alive when they take on the Brooklyn Kings this Friday night at 7:35 PM at the Washington Avenue Armory.
