
Patroons to participate in "Read To Be A Champion" event

Albany, NY - December 11, 2007 - The Albany Patroons, in a continuation of their ongoing community support and education initiatives, will participate in their first elementary school "Read To Be A Champion" event, as several Patroons visit Pine Bush Elementary School in Guilderland, N.Y at 1:00 PM on December 13.
The Patroon players will read to the school's first grade classes, and participate with the schools' 3rd and 4th grades' reading partners program.
The players scheduled to participate in Thursday's event include Jason Williams, Will Bowers, Nat Burton and Lucious Jordan.
The Albany Patroons, a member of the Continental Basketball Association, are currently in defense of their 2007 American Conference championship.
