
Patroons Suffer First Loss

December 26, 2008 (Albany, NY) - The Albany Patroons suffered their first loss of the season. A hard fought 111-104 final. The Patroons led 23-17 after the first quarter. The NYC Internationalz half-court pressure defense took Albany out of their offensive flow as NYC took the half-time lead 49-47. NYC's Alexis Foyle score 10 of his game high 33 points in the third quarter as the Internationalz stretched the lead to 78-71. Albany's Shaun Fountain scored 17 of his team high 33 points in a hard fought fourth quarter, but it wasn't enough. Patroons forward Gabe Freeman had a double-double, contributing 18 points in a game high 21 rebounds. NYC guard Marvin McCollough also contributed 18 points and played a solid floor game leading to the victory. Patroons host the NYC Internationalz tomorrow, December 27th at 7:05 pm. Season ticket holders should use their game ticket from December 25th.
