Patroons make transactions

Albany Patroons News Release


Albany, NY - May 2, 2007 - The Patroons most recent USBL transaction includes the addition of 6'0" Guard, Whitney Robinson. Robinson split his collegiate career between Eastern Kentucky University and Central Michigan. As a 2003 Central Michigan graudate, he earned All-MAC Sixth Man Award '03, MAC Tournament Champion '03, and MAC Regular Season West Division Champion '03. Robinson went on to play in the 2003 Mexico Governor's Cup, the 2004 Haukar (ISL- Intersport League), the 2004 China Basketball Association tryout (CBA Central team), the 2005 Maccabi Qiryat Biyallik (ISR-National L.), the 2005 Sports Ambassadors (France), and the 2006-7 SKS Polphamra-Pakmet Starogard. Robinson's last stint before joining the Patroons was with the Guaros de Lara (VEN-LPB). Robinson will dress for tomorrow night's game against the Brooklyn Kings at 7:35 PM at the Washington Avenue Armory.
