Albany, NY - November 2, 2006 - The Patroons have signed two more players, both considered great scorers by Patroons' Assistant Coach Derrick Rowland.
Wayne Nelson, a 6'4 Forward, graduated from Adelphi with numerous top ten school rankings and is notably the school's third all-time leading scorer with 1,619 points. Nelson was drafted to play in Portugal's Euroleague for the 2003-4 season. Nelson played for the USBL Patroons this past Spring, and is currently in Mexico.
Shawn Hampton of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is a 6'9 Forward that is a strong rebounder and can score in the Paint.
