Albany Panthers News Release
ALBANY, Georgia - The Albany Panthers announced the participants who will represent Coca-Cola Night during pre-game activities Saturday, March 31st, as the Panthers host the Louisiana Swashbucklers on Phoebe Field at the Albany James H Gray Civic Center.
The national Anthem will be sung by Jamie Wiley. The invocation will be delivered by Jimmy Mallard. Assisting with the coin toss will be David Alford and the Game Ball delivery will be done by Robert Fleet. The Marine Corps Color Guard will be on hand as well to present the flag. In addition, members of the Panthers' 2011 League Championship team will be featured during a pre-game ring celebration.
With a 2-0 record, the Panthers are ranked 1st in this week's PIFL League Poll. Albany is coming off a last-second 58-55 win against the same Louisiana Swashbucklers last Saturday night. Though the Bucs are currently 1-1, the importance of this match-up couldn't be bigger. With a win, Albany takes one step closer to a playoff birth and a regular season division title.
Tickets for this regular season home game are still available by contacting the Civic Center Box Office at 229-430-5204.
