Las Vegas, NV, July 22, 2005 - A combination of beauty, style and sizzle will be on display at the Palms Casino Resort for the 2006 Las Vegas Gladiators Goddesses auditions on August 13 and 16, 2005. The Arena Football League will partner with the "place to be seen" in Las Vegas to hold its annual auditions for the 2006 season. Talented dance professionals will vie for the opportunity to be named to Las Vegas' only professional sports dance team as well as the hottest team in the league. The Lounge inside the Palms will play host to the preliminary auditions on Saturday, August 13, while Skinny Dip Tuesdays at Skin Pool Lounge will host the finals on Tuesday night, August 16.
On Saturday, August 13, at the Lounge inside the Palms Casino Resort, preliminary audition registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. with dancing beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Finalists from the preliminary auditions will be asked to return for final auditions at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, at the Skin Pool Lounge at The Palms Casino Resort during Skinny Dip.
Promising dancers will need to come dressed to perform with full make-up and hair, jazz shoes, shorts, bare midriffs and light colored fishnets or bare legs. All applicants will need to bring a headshot, resume and a valid photo ID (ID is required at both the preliminaries and the finals). Applicants will be taught several routines for the preliminary audition and will be judged on dance ability, crowd appeal, showmanship, individual resumes and personality.
"We are taking the Las Vegas Gladiators Goddesses Dance Team to a new level this year, we are looking for classy, talented dancers who are willing to commit to the team, the fans, the sponsors and the community," states Goddess Manager Mary Vail.

Audition requirements:
Age qualifications: must be at least 18 years of age
Physically fit, limited tattoos and minimal body piercings, traditional hair color
Valid Photo ID (at both preliminaries and finals)
Resume
Head shot
Moveable tight fitting clothing, must show stomach
Dance /Jazz shorts (no long pants)
Hose - not required but nude fishnets okay ( no dark hose)
Tight fitting top - midriff showing (not too revealing)
Shoes: jazz
No jewelry
Make-up: full make-up, bright red glossy lips
