Palace's May 29 Game to Benefit Breast Cancer Charity

Baltimore, MD - Crystal Palace Baltimore has partnered with the James Joyce Irish Pub & Restaurant and the Tyanna Foundation in support of breast cancer awareness and prevention. The first annual "Live Pink Night at the Palace" will be held May 29th, 2010 when Crystal Palace Baltimore plays the Austin Aztex in USSF D-2 Pro League soccer action. The game kicks off at 7:00pm at UMBC Stadium with tickets priced at $16 each. Each ticket purchased in advance via the special link on the Tyanna Foundation's website or the special button on the Palace Baltimore website raises $4 for the Tyanna Foundation.

A silent auction will be held during the game for the commemorative, pink jerseys to be worn by the Crystal Palace Baltimore players that night with all proceeds also donated to the cause. An additional item of soccer memorabilia, autographed by members of the US Women's Olympic gold medal soccer team, will also be auctioned off in support of the cause.

Adding to the evening's excitement, members of the Washington Freedom women's pro soccer team will be in attendance and available to sign autographs. Furthermore, the nationally acclaimed USA Cheerleaders will be performing at the stadium, as well as taking pictures with fans.
