Palace Baltimore Finish Regular Season in Tampa Bay
September 29, 2010 - U.S. Soccer Federation D-2 (USSF D-2)
Crystal Palace Baltimore News Release
Baltimore, Md. - Crystal Palace (6-17-6) will round out their 2010 USSF D-2 Pro League season on the road against FC Tampa Bay (6-12-11) on Friday, October 1 at the George M. Steinbrenner Field. Kick off is at 7:30 p.m. EST.
The last time the two teams met was in Baltimore's season opener at UMBC on April 16, where an Aaron King strike was the difference in Tampa Bay's 1-0 win. Palace Baltimore will no doubt be looking to return the favor this Friday and end their disappointing season on a high note with a win in Tampa Bay.
This season's finale will be a matter of pride for both teams. Regardless of the game's outcome, Baltimore (currently on 24 points) will finish the season at the bottom of the League and the Rowdies (on 29 points) will remain tethered to the foot of the USL Conference.
Palace Baltimore will be without the services of Defender Andrew Marshall and Midfielder Santiago Fusilier, both of whom are serving suspensions.
