
Pace, Jackson ranked among top minor leaguers

ProBasketballNews.com, under the guidance of Editor Sam Amico, has released its Top 20 Minor Leaguers list. Compiled by Amico, the latest list includes a pair of East Kentucky Miners. East Kentucky guard Josh Pace and forward James "Boo" Jackson were both in the ProBasketballNews.com Top 20, ranking 14th and 15th, respectively. Pace was averaging a team-high 22.9 points per game and also led the Miners in assists (174) and steals (65) when the list was compiled. Jackson was averaging a double-double of 20.7 points and 10,1 rebounds per game. He scored a career-high 40 points Wednesday night in East Kentucky's 111-103 win over Great Falls.
Morris Almond, a first-round pick of the Utah Jazz who currently stars for the Utah Flash of the NBA D-League, tops the list. East Kentucky is the only CBA franchise to have two players in the Top 20 list. The list also includes Yakama Sun King Desmond Ferguson (6) and Butte Daredevil Odell Bradley (11).
