
P-Bruins Set Preseason Schedule

Providence Bruins News Release
The Providence Bruins announced today their pre-season schedule for the upcoming 2003-04 season, the 12th in franchise history. New head coach Scott Gordon and his club will play a six-game schedule before kicking off the regular season on Friday, October 10 7:05 p.m. against the Springfield Falcons at the Dunkin' Donuts Center Providence.
The Bruins begin the pre-season with a three-game weekend to close out the month of September. The action begins on Friday, September 26 at 7:05 p.m., when the Bruins and Hartford Wolf Pack face off at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro, Massachusetts. The teams face off again the next night at 7:05 p.m. at the Champions Skating Center in Cromwell, CT. The weekend concludes on Sunday, September 28 at 5:00 p.m., when the Black and Gold takes on the Lowell Lock Monsters at the Stoneham Arena in Stoneham, MA.
The Bruins wrap up the pre-season with three more games, beginning on Wednesday, October 1 at 7:05 p.m., when they host the Springfield Falcons at the Bradford R. Boss Arena at the University of Rhode Island. The Bruins and Lock Monsters meet at the Bridgewater (MA) Ice Arena on Friday, October 3 at 7:05 p.m. The pre-season concludes on Saturday, October 4 at 7:05 p.m., when the Bruins travel to the Springfield (MA) Civic Center to take on the Falcons.
Tickets for the game at Boss Arena go on sale on Monday, August 25 at U.R.I.'s Ryan Center (401-788-3250) and at all TicketMaster outlets (401-331-2211 or 508/617-931-2000).

The Providence Bruins will host a Boston Bruins pre-season game against the Stanley Cup champion New Jersey Devils at the Dunkin' Donuts Center Providence on Tuesday, September 30, 2003 at 7:05 p.m.
The Providence Bruins are currently offering a Hat Trick Special. Fans can purchase a ticket to the Boston Bruins game on September 30, as well as a ticket to the Providence Bruins-Worcester IceCats game on Friday, October 17 at 7:05 p.m. and to the Bruins-Bridgeport Sound Tigers game on Saturday, November 8 at 7:05 p.m., for just $40. In addition, fans who purchase four Hat Trick Specials will receive a free Providence Bruins hat.
