
Over 3,400 Students and Fans Cheer on the World's Best Women's Hockey Players at the PMC

(Peterborough, ON) - On Friday, February 10, the Peterborough Petes hosted Team Harvey's and Team Scotiabank at the PMC as a part of the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) OHL Showcase.
The game was a part of the PWHPA Secret Dream Gap Tour and featured Canadian Gold Medalists Marie-Philip Poulin, Rebecca Johnston, Blayre Turnbull, and many more.
It was the first-ever school day game at the PMC, featuring an attendance of 3,480 includingover 2,400 students from Peterborough and the surrounding area. Team Harvey's would go on to beat Scotiabank by a score of 5-2.

The PWHPA OHL Showcase continues on Friday night in St. Catharines, as Team Sonnet and Team Adidas square off in a game at the Meridian Centre hosted by the Niagara IceDogs. The game has already set the all-time Secret Dream Gap Tour attendance record with over 4,000 seats already sold. Overall, the PWHPA OHL Showcase will be the highest-attended PWHPA weekend event ever.
The Petes are back in action at the PMC on Sunday for a matinee matchup with the Guelph Storm. Puck drop is scheduled for 2:05PM. You can purchase tickets, or by contacting the PMC Grant Thornton Box Office in person or at (705) 743-3561.
