Saturday, June 20th was a glimpse of what decent weather does for attendance in those great parks in the NL. Despite chilly temperatures, the Winnipeg Goldeyes, who annually lead all independent clubs throughout the country in attendance, drew 5508 to downtown Canwest spark to see the Goldeyes thrilling 6-4 late-inning comeback win against the Joliet JackHammers.

In Schaumburg, IL, a Saturday night crowd of 5265 at Alexian Field saw the Flyers mount an offensive barrage and blend that with great pitching on the way to a 9-2 victory over the red-hot Gary SouthShore RailCats.

Finally, at CommuniyAmerica Park in Kansas City, KS, home of the defending champion T-Bones, a whopping crowd of 7396 viewed a thrilling 4-3 ballgame against the upstart Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks. A ninth inning rally by the T-Bones fell just short despite a loud and raucous crowd urging them to a win.
