Chico Outlaws News Release

CHICO, CALIF - For the second straight year, the Chico Outlaws spring training schedule will be highlighted by an exhibition game against the defending Golden Baseball League champion Reno Silver Sox that will also serve as a fundraiser for a well-known community organization. The game will take place Tuesday, June 5 at 7:05pm at Nettleton Stadium. Tickets are now available, with all net proceeds from advanced game day ticket sales going directly to the Jesus Center.

Tickets for the Outlaws-Silver Sox exhibition game are just $5.00 and are good for any seat in the ballpark. To purchase tickets, call the Jesus Center at 345-2640 and stop by their offices at 1297 Park Ave. in Chico.

The exhibition game will also serve as the only "full dress rehearsal" for the Outlaws seasonal game day staff prior to opening night (also against Reno) June 10, so fans attending the fundraiser will get a taste of what they can expect during a regular season Outlaws game. The Outlaws plan to help raise additional funds during the evening by spotlighting the Jesus Center and conducting a "Pass the Cleat" promotion through the grandstands.

The Outlaws will make 2007 regular season tickets available to the general public for the first time beginning at 9:00am Saturday, May 26 at its 308 Salem Street location. Full- and mini-season ticket plans are currently available; call the Outlaws at 345-3210 for more information.
