North Iowa Outlaws News Release
The North Iowa Outlaws have controlled the series against the Bismarck Bobcats and Thursday night was no different as the Outlaws skated to a 3-1 victory. North Iowa used another balanced scoring attack, getting goals from three different lines, two with the man advantage. North Iowa's Robby Moss picked up his third straight win against Bismarck, and his 19th on the season.
Matt Morin brought the crowd to their feet in the opening period, scoring with a shot from the point that gave North Iowa the 1-0 lead after the first period. In the second, Tyler Romasco hammered home a rebound on the power play assisted by Trevor Doden and Shea Walters for the Outlaws second tally, with Walter scoring one of his own with the man advantage in the third period that made it 3-0 at the time. With just seconds left, the Bobcats took advantage of a turnover and capitalized to break the shutout, making the final 3-1.
North Iowa and Bismarck meet again Friday night at 7:30 pm at the North Iowa Ice Arena, before the Outlaws head on the road to Owatonna for a Saturday night contest with the Southern Minnesota Express.
