Free Post Game Skate Saturday

Alpena IceDiggers News Release


Alpena MI: Following Saturday night's game between the Alpena IceDiggers and the Marquette Rangers the IceDiggers will host a FREE post game skate with the players.

Face off is set for 7:00PM. Any fan in attendance can lace up the skates and enjoy a session on public skating with their favorite IceDigger player.

"This a fun way for all of our fans to get up close and personal with their favorite player and enjoy going out on the ice and skate with the boys." said head coach Kenny Miller

Ticket prices for the remaining home games are $10.00 for adults (18 - 61) $8.00 for seniors (62 +) $6.00 (students 13 - 17 W./ photo ID) $5.00 (12- under)

Northern Lights Arena will have skates available for fans that do not have their own skates to rent for only $3.00.

The IceDiggers (23-13-3 49 pts.) currently sit in 3rd place 2 pts. behind Mahoning Valley (24-10-3 51 pts.).

The IceDiggers will travel to Marquette on Friday for a 7:30PM contest before returning home for Saturday's game.

NOTES:

Erik Peterson (Alpena MI), Jimmy McCusker (Novi MI) and Isaac Viau (Cheboygan MI) will suit up for the North division team in February at the NAHL Prospects tournament in Ann Arbor. "I am very proud of these three guys, they have earned the right to represent us in Ann Arbor. said Miller. "Their were several guys that could have represented us down there."
